Let me first apologize for our recent inactivity here on Brutalitopia. Despite any excuses I could come up with, I can say we'll back to our usual "two posts or so per week" schedule very soon. Sometimes, it can just take a fun little news story to get me back in the writing groove. So check out the news after the break.
Chicago instrumental natives Russian Circles just announced yesterday, via their Facebook page, that they will be playing a completely free.....yes free show in Chicago this upcoming summer. They will be playing on Monday, August 11th downtown in Millenium Park (as depicted directly below).
I can say from personal experience that Russian Circles are one hell of a band to see live. If you've never taken advantage of seeing them play, now you have zero excuses (perhaps outside of not living in Chicago).
